Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda to build a decoupled serverless application. The role focuses on implementing plan management endpoints with Fastify and ts-rest, designing a SQL Server schema with Prisma migrations, and building a deterministic calculation engine covering forecasts, SMV, derived metrics, and goal deltas — while integrating internal APIs with caching, retries, and circuit-breaker patterns, wiring the full AWS infrastructure via Serverless Framework, and ensuring quality through thorough unit and integration tests.

• 4+ years with Node.js and TypeScript in production backend services.
• Hands-on AWS Lambda + API Gateway, comfortable with serverless tradeoffs (cold starts, 30s/10MB limits, concurrency).
• Experience with Prisma (or comparable ORM) and a relational database; SQL Server experience a plus.
• Strong API design background — REST + JSON Schema/Zod/OpenAPI — and integration patterns (caching, retries, circuit breakers).
• Comfortable with Serverless Framework / IaC and GitLab-style CI/CD.

Nice to have:

• Fastify and ts-rest experience specifically.
• Background in calculation/forecasting engines or financial/analytics computations.
• Familiarity with Coralogix or comparable APM/log platforms.
