We are looking for a German-speaking Java engineer to join our agile team to develop innovative solutions for supply chain management and discrete manufacturing process optimization. You will embrace the entire development process from requirements and design, through development and testing to deployment preparation and implementation, as well as troubleshooting of the software used in production in third-level support.
The project’s goal is to automatically create a list of safety-relevant features or work steps of the car production that have to be documented as completed by the workers.
Our client, is a business partner we have been working with for an extended period of time, a German software provider with an international presence, specializing in the optimization of business processes. Their primary focus is on serving clients in the Automotive and discrete manufacturing industries.
Java 11, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Gradle, Flyway, PostgreSQL, Git
Required technical skills:
- Excellent object-oriented programming skills
- 4+ years of commercial development experience using Java
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience with logging frameworks will be a plus
- Hands-on experience developing RESTful services, APIs
- Solid knowledge of RDBMS, and experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or similar databases.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience in service containerization using Docker, familiarity with Kubernetes
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Git version control
